Will HealFast interact with any medications or anesthesia I might be take during or after surgery?

No - HealFast Recovery is designed to be taken in the peri-operative period and alongside the use of anesthesia or pain meds.

Many physicians rightfully advise patients to avoid supplements and vitamins around surgery due to the known potential of certain supplements, vitamins, and herbs to interact with medications, anesthesia, bleeding, and the clotting cascade.

This is of course, great, solid and practical safety advice when a surgeon is unfamiliar with a products potential impacts. However, the HealFast Recovery formula is physician crafted and approved for this time period.

At HealFast, our Medical Team specifically included only those ingredients that would provide maximum post-surgery nutritional support while minimizing potential interactions associated with common medications, anesthesia, or preoperative events. Thus, we have intentionally excluded ingredients that have known interactions (e.g., Vitamin E, St. John's Wort, etc.).
