What type of Folate is being used? Is it a bioactive form like Metafolin?

Our formula's Folate (as Vitamin B9) is a highly bioavailable and bioactive form of Folic Acid. For reference, all Folic acids are bioactive, but not all are highly bioavailable. This is especially true when compared to the aggregate bioavailability of folates from fruit, vegetables, and liver which is ~80% of that of Folic acid. Metafolin, is another equally absorbable form of Folic acid but is more often associated with prenatal care vitamins or in cases of PCOS, infertility, or other hormonal imbalances. It is a more expensive ingredient, that lacks the clinical evidence to support its excessive costs for the potential marginal improvement in our formula's use case scenarios for surgery, wound, and other tissue healing.
